Why not to be an Entrepreneur:

Why not to be an Entrepreneur

Everyone has a wish to become an entrepreneur some day in their lives and as world economies are moving, we do have tons of opportunities to explore markets and our own inner potential as an entrepreneur. Now, this is irony that every third person in India dream to become the entrepreneur and only few people able to sustain and do wonders in business by fighting with odds.

Today, I am not going to talk about the success stories of the entrepreneurs, lets dig in the lives of the people who hassles in their life and show courage to explore their dreams but somehow, they have to stop chasing their vision. We don’t discuss about reasons of failure either we go through the ideal day of a failed entrepreneur’s life & understand what happens once you failed in any new venture in your life.

When business fails usually the entrepreneur lacks prerequisites for good finances & it’s one of the most significant & discouraging situations. Though, they have to deal with all this by keeping their head held high with dignity & integrity. The very first person who hit them hard are the loved ones i.e. family, friends, spouses, girlfriends or boyfriends & relatives every relationship would test you to extreme.

In India, we are living in a hypo-critic society of loved ones who judge your intelligence by the amount of money you have. And once you get failed in any ventures every moment people around you make you realize that you made some blunder in life, which is not at all easy when someone going through this phase of their life specially when they are broke financially, emotionally and much more.

Surviving this situation requires high guts & self-confidence, patience, persistence, discipline & positive self-talks. All these things are very easy to speak but going through it calls for real strength.

So, let’s have the list of some of the unwanted, undesired, unnatural behaviors, circumstances & emotions an entrepreneur has to go through till the time he gets successful.

1.       Irony, In India if you want to start business very first question people usually asks is “Why” rather than “What” i.e. “Why you want to do business instead of asking What business you want to do”.

2.       Most important people in your life avoids you or leave you.

3.       No one cares about how you feel or the pain you go through.

4.       Every moment you get judged by your loved & near & dear ones & society which tries to discourage you.

5.       Its easy to say that don’t think of any one & just focus on your vision but practically its not possible when you get stuck in your business venture.

6.       Every moment you go through fear, uncertainty which at some point you may overcome but people discourage you badly by making embarrassing situations frequently.

7.       Empty wallets are the most painful time which leads to sleepless nights.

8.       Your close Friends usually do your life’s most important discussions with you about your business on weekends on their drinks table.

9.       People takes undue advantage & plays with your hard earn limited money.

10.   You will be the counterfeit coin everywhere in this adverse phase of your life.

11.   People who never did business in their lives gives you tons of advice on how you will be successful in your business.

12.   Last but not the least, people love to dominate & harass, and you (struggling entrepreneur) will be the victim of that.

These are the irony and practical situation happens in every entrepreneur’s life while he/she is struggling for success. Above scenario is relevant for the entrepreneurs who failed in business and now compromising their lives with some so called (9am-5pm) corporate jobs.

Now, let’s go through the other side of the coin, if you (entrepreneur) gets successful and able to make their vision into reality by overcoming all these above hurdles & challenges along with actual business challenges then the people who disappears from your life suddenly appears with lots of appreciation but strictly speaking “Till the time you will be an altogether a new person”.

My purpose of writing this article is not to develop fear in your minds but to tell you and make you aware that such situations & circumstances does happens apart from the real business problems, & these too plays the vital role in an aspiring entrepreneur’s lives.

Here is a tip for individuals who want to become an entrepreneur or who already tried hands in business but due to any reasons give up on their dreams and killing themselves on daily basis from inside for such people a piece of advice:

“Its ok to get failed, its ok to give up, its ok if you were going through above circumstances which we discussed, In all this what is important is Never let your entrepreneur mindset die inside you. Keep the fire burning inside and wait for your moment and bounce back harder than last time & eventually you evolve.”

Being an Entrepreneur is not a cup of tea for everyone because when you think different from the crowd you have to sacrifice so many things but when you taste success people start follow & suddenly you become achiever from loser.  Maybe you see this article a bit negative or depressive but the fact of the matter is its bitter truth we accept it or not but we all have to go through this in some point of time in our life.

In the end what I conclude for all my budding entrepreneurs who stops themselves somewhere in their lives, Now is the time to recollect your vision, imagination, rationality & all your past experience come up and don’t give up on life business is just a game sometimes we win some times we loss but the game is always there.

Don’t loss hope, couragestart something new form where you are right now, how small it would be, but take that first step again with full conviction, determination to make your dream into reality take calculated risk again & go for it.
